Guildhall Dance Porch

Built between 1788 and 1790 by George Dance the Younger, the "Dance Porch" was conceived as a grand new entrance to the City of London’s medieval Guildhall. Designed in an experimental Gothic style with Indian influences, the structure reflects Britain’s growing imperial interests of the period.

CCA were appointed by the City of London Corporation to specify and oversee conservation works and cleaning to this historically significant structure.
